I just received the news that Bob Taylor, a longtime member of the board of the Florida Wildlife Federation from Polk County, has died. Bob had been active, despite health problems, in working on a number of projects to promote conservation in Polk County. They included making and selling nest boxes to raise funds for a scholarship fund, constructing a chimney swift tower for Circle B Bar Reserve and participating in the work of local environmental organizations.
